Keyboard shortcuts

On Windows Ctrl works instead of ⌘. The keys do nothing while the cursor is in a text field.

Zoom and scrolling

Key	Action
`+` or `=`	Zoom in, from the centre of the screen.
`−`	Zoom out.
`0`	Show the whole shoot and go back to the start.
`⌘` + wheel, pinch on a trackpad	Zoom in or out around the cursor.
`Shift` + wheel	Scroll along the timeline.
Wheel, two fingers	Scrolling with no modifier: vertical with a mouse, in any direction with a trackpad.

The playhead

Key	Action
A click on an empty spot of a track	Puts the playhead there. The timecode appears under the ruler.
`←` `→`	One frame back or forward. The view follows on its own.
`Shift` + `←` `→`	Ten frames.
`Esc`	Remove the playhead and clear the selection.

Selecting and deleting

Key	Action
A click on a clip	Select one clip.
`Shift` + click	Select the range from the previous clip to this one.
`⌘` + click	Add a clip to the selection or take it out.
A click on a track label	Select the whole track. With `Shift` or `⌘` add the track to the selection.
`⌘` + `A`	Select everything.
`Delete` or `Backspace`	Remove the selection from the project. The files on disk are untouched.
`⌘` + `Z`	Bring back what was removed, step by step.
Right click	The context menu: remove, select the track, undo.

Tracks

Gesture	Action
Drag a track label up or down	Move the track. Video among video, sound among sound.
