DaVinci Resolve

1. Export, then DaVinci Resolve. Save CamHeard_sync_DR.xml.
2. In Resolve: File, Import, Timeline…, choose the file. The media links itself.
3. The timeline appears in the Media Pool under the file's name.

What the timeline looks like

• One stereo audio track per camera, the way Resolve likes it. The first video track does not stay empty.
• The recorder on the lower tracks, below all the camera sound, one track per channel.

Recorder channels

If the recorder has three or more channels, after the import all of its tracks hear the first channel. For each track select the recorder clips, open Clip Attributes and set Source Channel to 2, 3 and so on. The app reminds you right after the export.

Formats Resolve does not read

Resolve does not decode old camcorder files (.mpg, .mod): they come in offline even though they sit on disk. The app warns you after the export. Transcode them, or leave them if you do not need those angles.
