Worth knowing

  • Final Cut does not import Blackmagic RAW and old camcorder files (.mpg, .mod), and one such file would break the whole import. So the app leaves them out and says how many: 3 clip(s) left out. For those angles use the DaVinci Resolve export.
  • Recorder channels from three channels up hear the first channel after the import, as in Resolve. Assign the channels on the tracks by hand.
  • The Matching timecode checkbox does not apply to Final Cut, for the same reason as for Resolve.
